The Negro Soldier
’ … a 40-minute odd-length feature, was produced by the US Army Signal Corps, directed by Col. Frank Capra. It recounted the Negro’s many services in America’s former wars, his widespread contribution to this one. Although the film was made to be shown to Negro troops only, it merited, and got, national theatrical release.’
